Join us for a special Foundations of Faith Fundraising Dinner in support of the redevelopment of UKIM Masjid Bilal and Islamic Centre, East Ham.

From a humble Qur’an circle held in local homes in 1982, Masjid Bilal has grown into a vital centre of worship, education and community service. After more than 40 years of serving East London, the existing Masjid can no longer accommodate the growing needs of its worshippers and the wider community.

The vision is to build a modern, sustainable and future-ready Islamic and community centre that will:

• More than double the current worshipper capacity
• Provide dedicated prayer and community facilities for women
• Establish classrooms and a lecture hall for Islamic education
• Create a free food bank serving people of all faiths and backgrounds
• Support elderly residents and help address social isolation
• Provide health, wellbeing and community support services
• Generate sustainable income through retail space and residential facilities
• Incorporate solar energy, a biodiverse green roof and energy-efficient design
• Include foundations capable of supporting further expansion for future generations

This is more than the development of a building. It is an investment in faith, education, dignity and community—a lasting legacy for our children and generations yet to come.
