From Humble Beginnings to a Legacy for Generations
For over half a century, UKIM Madinah Masjid, Luton has stood at the heart of its community — nurturing faith, educating generations and providing a place where Muslims can worship, learn, connect and serve.
What began in 1974 from a modest house on Oak Road has, through the sacrifice and generosity of generations before us, grown into an established Masjid serving a diverse and growing community.
Today, we have the opportunity to write the next chapter of that remarkable journey.
Join us.. for a very special Foundations of Faith Fundraising Dinner as we come together to support the ambitious Madinah Masjid Expansion and Community Centre Project — creating the space and facilities required to serve our children, young people, families and wider community for generations to come.
Building More Than a Masjid
The vision is to significantly expand the existing Masjid and develop a purpose-designed Madinah Community Centre — increasing prayer capacity while creating much-needed facilities for education, youth development, community welfare and Islamic services.
The planned development will provide:
Expanded prayer facilities with significantly increased capacity
Enhanced Madrasah and Islamic education facilities
A dedicated Community & Multipurpose Hall
An expanded Library and learning space
Dedicated Youth Centre and recreational facilities
Gym and activity space
Mortuary and funeral facilities
Foodbank and community welfare provision
Spaces supporting families, young people and the wider community
